Timur Khromaev

Mr. Khromaev manages investment banking, corporate finance, brokerage and asset management departments.
Prior to co-founding ARTA in 2002, Mr. Khromaev served in top ranking positions at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (1997-2001). His responsibilities there included the implementation of the state debt policy in the domestic and foreign capital markets, optimization of the state commercial debt structure, coordination of the Ministry’s co-operation with the National Bank of Ukraine and the State Treasury, and elaboration of the legislative acts related to the state commercial debts.
Before joining the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Khromaev served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board at NRB-Ukraine, where he was responsible for management of the bank’s Treasury and the Corporate Finance Department.
Previously, Mr. Khromaev was Deputy Chairman of the Board at another local bank –TAS-Invest Bank where he supervised the Investment Banking and Corporate Finance Departments.
Mr. Khromaev received a B.A. in Economics from Union College, New York, USA in 1997, and Master's degree in International Law from Institute of International Relations, Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University. Timur also completed training in International Law at Cambridge University (1995).

Larisa Primenko
Director, Fixed Income
Ms. Primenko has been managing ARTA's fixed income practice since 2003.
In 1998 Larisa joined the the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine where served as a senior specialist. Her core areas of activity were sovereign Eurobond issues and international capital markets.
Since joining ARTA in 2003, Larisa has completed bond placements, equity deals, and advisory projects in a variety of sectors, including oil & gas and energy, transportation, food & agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and banking. She has been also involved in municipal and sovereign borrowings and debt management.
Larisa received a Master's Degree in Finance from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics; and a Specialist Degree in Physics from National Shevchenko University, Kyiv. Larisa also completed a course on Microeconomics and Financial Analysis at Joint Vienna Institute, Austria.
Oleg Ganenko
Director, Corporate Finance
Mr. Ganenko has been managing ARTA’s M&A activities since 2004.
He has over seven years experience in international banking, participating in M&A transactions, as well as financial strategic advisory and business valuation projects. Oleg has worked on a number of deals for banking and financial institutions and also has expertise in oil & gas, transportation, retail, media, agriculture, and heavy machinery.
Mr. Ganenko received an M.S. in Finance from CASS Business School, CITY University, London; an M.S. in International Management from Kyiv National Economic University; and a B.S. in Economics from Kyiv National Economic University.
Gleb Kabalnov
Head of Asset Management
Mr. Kabalnov heads ARTA’s asset management department. His responsibilities include market portfolio monitoring, investment risks assessment, market assets evaluation and sectoral analysis.
Gleb has 7 years of experience in the Ukrainian stock market. Prior to occupying his current position, Gleb worked at ARTA as an equity market expert. Before joining ARTA, Gleb worked as an asset manager in one of the Ukrainian investment companies. He performed analysis of funds activities and PFTS listed companies, as well as developed in-depth companies and sectoral insights.
Mr. Kabalnov received a Specialist Degree in International Economics from the Kharkiv State University of Economics.
Giles Farley
Director, Investment Banking
Mr. Farley has been heading sales and marketing for ARTA’s investment banking division since 2008.
Prior to joining ARTA, Giles spent four years in the United States, Europe and Asia as a Vice President for Citigroup. Most recently, he led a team responsible for managing the bank’s USD 14 billion consumer liability portfolio in Germany.
Giles has also worked as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and as an investment analyst for Dialogue Capital Management, a New York-based hedge fund.
Giles began his career in politics. He spent six years managing electoral campaigns in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean and one year as a cabinet member in the State Government of Alabama, where he was the Governor’s chief aide for policy and research.
Giles holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
